The idea is to select wisely. In preparing an author focus, the author photograph page and the large-print author information page can be duplicated and used as poster pages to help create a bulletin-board or author center display introducing the featured bookperson. Mount the photocopies to the inside of a file folder. Add some color, using an edging or small, colored illustrations from a periodical or publisher's catalog, and laminate the open folder. Enlarge pictures of book characters onto manila or white oaktag, using an opaque projector or an overhead projector.
